The Makita LS0816F/1 is a 216mm diameter 110V Slide Compound Saw, powered by direct drive motor, with soft start, to deliver 1200 input wattage and up to 5,000 rpm. The LS0816F/1 is equipped with an aluminium die-cast base, lock-off function, slide style sub fence (left side only), pull out sub-base to enable the cutting of wider workpieces, LED job light designed to cast a shadow of the saw blade onto the workpiece for an exact cutting line, forced dust collection and is double insulated. The LS0816F/1 can be connected directly to a Makita Vacuum Cleaner. It cuts up to 305mm (12”) at 90 degrees and 215mm (8 ½”) at 45 degrees and is ideal for cutting baseboard, crown moulding installation, wooden floor installation and more. Maximum 47 degrees left and right mitre range and 47 degrees left and 2 degrees right maximum bevel range.
