Bond It Mitre Kit is a high-performance, high-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive combined with an accelerator spray, designed to provide rapid bonding and excellent gap-filling properties. This twin pack ensures a fast, clean, and reliable bond – perfect for fine joints such as mitres where precision and appearance matter. It is ideal for use on porous and uneven surfaces such as MDF and oak, making it a favourite among joiners, carpenters, and fitters.

Suitable For

• MDF, chipboard, and all common timbers (oak, pine, etc.)
• PVCu and most plastics

Limitations

• Not suitable for permanent glass bonding
• Do not use on oily or greasy surfaces
• May cause staining on uPVC if accelerator is over-applied – always test on a small area first
• Avoid strong light and high heat exposure

Application Instructions

• Preparation: Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or contaminants
• Accelerator: Spray lightly over one surface and allow to dry. Use on the least visible face of the joint where possible
• Adhesive: Apply adhesive to the opposite surface and immediately bring the two parts together
• Bonding: Apply light, even pressure until the bond forms (typically within 10 seconds)
• Clean-up: Wipe away any uncured adhesive using a dry cloth. Once cured, remove mechanically
