Gasification Device: Enhancing Material Flow

The gasification device is an essential component of storage silos, buffering silos, ash hoppers, flat bottom silos, and hopper bottom silos. Typically installed at the bottom of the material silo or the side of the ash hopper, it plays a crucial role in facilitating smooth material discharge.

How it Works:

During discharge, heated compressed air is introduced into the silo, causing the materials to fluidize. This fluidization process reduces the material's cohesiveness, preventing arching and ensuring a smooth flow of materials.

Components:

The gasification device typically consists of:

• SiC Gasification Plate: A specialized plate made of silicon carbide for optimal gas distribution.

• Box Shell: The outer casing that houses the gasification plate.

• Connecting Flange: The connection point between the device and the silo.
