We offer a comprehensive range of synthetic conveyor belts designed for both light and heavy-duty processing and conveying applications. Our belts are constructed using multiple fabric plies coated with top and/or bottom layers to provide strength, stability, and impact resistance.

Versatile Applications

Beyond standard horizontal conveying, synthetic belts excel in various specialized applications:

  • Curved Conveying: Efficiently transport goods around corners to optimize space, change direction, or facilitate sorting.

  • Troughed Conveying: Effectively handle bulk materials like sand and grain using trough idler assemblies. Our belts offer exceptional lateral flexibility for this purpose.

  • Inclined/Declined Conveying: Prevent product slippage with profiled belt covers or cleats for steeper angles and bulk materials.

  • Accumulation: Maintain smooth product flow with low-friction, wear-resistant belt surfaces for temporary interruptions in the conveying process.

Standard Belt Materials

Sprint Drives offers a wide range of synthetic conveyor belts constructed from various polymer coatings. These coatings determine a belt's suitability for specific applications. Polymers are categorized into two primary types: thermoplastic and thermoset.

PVC Belts

PVC, a versatile thermoplastic, is widely used in conveyor belt production due to its flexibility and durability.

  • Standard PVC Belts: Cost-effective, resistant to chemicals (including chlorine) and hydrolysis, and available in flame-retardant options. Ideal for airports, logistics, agriculture, and fruit/vegetable handling.

  • Food-Approved PVC Belts: Resistant to oil and fat, compliant with food safety regulations. Suitable for food handling applications.

Polyurethane Belts

Polyurethane belts are renowned for their food safety and durability. They can be thermoplastic (TPU) or thermoset (PUR).

  • Standard Thermoplastic PU Belts: Highly flexible, resistant to oil and fat, and food-compliant. Ideal for food, packaging, wood, textile, and metal industries.

  • Fabric Impregnated PU Belts: Low friction, highly flexible, abrasion-resistant, and food-compliant. Suitable for food, logistics, airport, and electronics industries.

Polyolefin Belts

Polyolefins, including polyethylene, offer flexibility at low temperatures, chemical resistance, and food compliance. They are ideal for tobacco and food industries.

Polyester Belts

Polyester belts are known for their strength, flexibility, and resistance to hydrolysis and heat. They are commonly used in the tobacco and food industries.

Fabric and Felt Belts

Cotton, flax, polyamide, and polyester fabrics and felts are used in various applications, including automotive, food processing, and heavy industry.

Silicone Belts

Silicone belts excel in high-temperature and chemical-resistant environments, offering excellent release properties for sticky products. Commonly used in food and tire industries.

Polymer Blends

Combinations of PU, PVC, and rubber create belts with high grip, chemical resistance, wear resistance, and oil resistance. Ideal for paper, print, and wood industries.
